The North Texas Wargamers reserved the McCallum meeting on the 4th floor of the Frisco Public Library from 10AM to 5PM for Saturday, May 2nd.

This is our second meeting at the Library this year. At the last meeting there in March, thirteen people showed up but the room has enough tables to accommodate another dozen more, at least. There is no charge to attend. We don't provide food or drink but the library has no problem bringing your own as long as you clean up the mess. The room has good ...

Have you guys ever thought about doing a flea market at the con? Maybe reserve a few tables for it and split the tables in 1/2 or 1/4 and charge anyone who wants to do it $5 or $10 for the space. Might be a good way to get people to the show to unload their unwanted stuff along with picking up some hard to find or cheap stuff in between games.

We game every Saturday 12:30ish-7 (unless store owner has to leave early then it's 6).

We're currently playing AD&D 2nd Ed. but plan on running General Quarters (a WWII Naval mini game) shortly.

For us...it's more about having a good time than what game we play. And we all like different games so we play a lot of different games.

Ping me if you want more info.

Coupon code for G3 reg?

I'm already registered myself but people are asking about the coupon code that used to be available before the forums got nuked. The registration site still points people to a weblink(now invalid) for the code. I assume this means it is still usable. I don't remember what it was but can someone repost it on the new forums?

Some may have noticed that when you reply to a thread, it gives you the option of "rolling" a die and posting the result. You can also create and maintain character sheets on the forum...still trying to figure that part out though...and I thought these would be perfect features for running a leisurely RPG. I know I have seen this on other forums, but I'm not sure how it ...
