My friend experience one of the Playstation feared Achilles heel, which would be "overheating"! Make sure you have your PS3 in an open area that is not obstructed, so that heat can escape cleanly build! Playstation other issues: the DRE "disk read error", freezing, and jump! These problems have affected the line Sony Playstation consoles since the PS1 and unfortunately after all this time, problems remain, including the PS3!
