XBox 360 RROD Help?
Well .. I turned to my 360 and was playing Halo 3 to 5 minutes, then froze. I thought it was just the disk, but after the restart, the screen is blank, showed three red rings of death in the system. my friend tried the towel method, but only worked for a few hours .. I have not played my 360 for 2 weeks, and it was very hot outside (and inside) and I have the second generation, not all of which were messsed first … WHAT Shud DO I DO? I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada .. ask if there are repair shops near my home? and nobody knows if Bestbuy or Futureshop be fixed? screen just went black when you restart, no sound at all. Then came the rings.
Number of calls of support (which is 1-800-4MY-XBOX). It will take approximately 20 minutes to talk with them, but they will send you a box that has to go on the 360 and sends it to them. It will take approximately 2-3 weeks to recover. I know, I had to return twice. -_-Good luck!
